Rates
The MaineStay may be rented for a minimum of one week (Saturday to Saturday) at the rates below:
- 3 BR upstairs unit is available for $1500/week plus 7% Maine tax
- 2 BR downstairs unit is available for $975/week plus 7% Maine tax
- Full house is available for $2400/week plus 7% Maine tax
- Weekly price may be negotiable for multi-week rentals, depending on availability, by contacting us directly.
Rental Policies
Returning Guests
- Summer guests will be contacted in writing each fall to provide dates of rental availability for the following summer.
- Guests will submit reservation requests by February 1.
- Confirmations of reservations will be sent to our guests by March 1.
- Full payment, including 7% Maine tax, is required by April 1.
- If full payment is not received by April 1 then the reservation is considered cancelled, and the unit will be made available to our other guests.
- Notice of reservation cancellations will be made in writing.
First Time Guests
- Reservations are accepted after February 1.
- Confirmation is communicated within 2 weeks of receiving the reservation request.
- Reservations made between February 1 and March 15 require full payment, including 7% Maine tax, by April 1.
- Reservations accepted after March 15 require full payment, including 7% Maine tax, within 2 weeks of confirmation.
- If full payment is not received within the stated timeframe, then the reservation is considered cancelled, and the unit will be made available to our other guests.
- Notice of reservation cancellations will be made in writing.
Cancellation Policy
- A 50% refund will be provided for written cancellations received prior to May 1
- Cancellations received after May 1 will result in forfeiture of payment, unless we are successful in renting the unit(s) for the same period at an equal rate, at which time we will refund all monies minus a 25% cancellation fee.
Pet Fee
Additional $25 to compensate for additional cleaning required
